Team Knurdz Neural was selected as a finalist in the undergraduate Agentic AI Challenge at Aurora 2026 — Sri Lanka's premier university computing competition, organized by the Computer Science Association in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
Knurdz Neural advanced through the proposal review stage and was named among the teams selected to continue in the 2026 competition programme.
About the competition
Aurora is the annual Conference on Computer Science, spanning keynote sessions, workshops, and a competitive programme for undergraduates and school students. Aurora 2026 centres on Agentic AI and Social Engineering — how autonomous systems can detect, explain, and respond to social-engineering threats such as phishing, urgency manipulation, and authority abuse.
The undergraduate track asks teams of four to design agentic systems with clear architecture, ethical safeguards, and measurable impact — evaluated on innovation, technical feasibility, ethical compliance, and presentation quality.
