Road to Legacy 2.0: 2nd Runners-Up
Team Knurdz placed 2nd runners-up at Road to Legacy 2.0 and won the inter-university mini competition: a cross-campus meetup and flagship event linking UOM, UOC, and USJ first-year IT undergraduates.
Result
Team Knurdz was named 2nd runners-up at Road to Legacy 2.0 and won the mini competition held during the programme’s inter-university meetup, bringing together students from the University of Moratuwa (UOM), University of Colombo (UOC), and University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ).
Knurdz competed alongside delegates from all three partner universities, combining teamwork across campuses with the skills tested in the on-day mini challenge.
About the event
Road to Legacy is a student-led initiative that bridges academia and industry for first-year IT undergraduates in Sri Lanka. Organized through collaboration between students at UOM, UOC, and USJ (including the IEEE Student Branch at USJ), the programme runs cross-university meetups, networking, and a flagship conference-style event.
Road to Legacy 2.0 (August 2025) united 550+ delegates at the Faculty of Technology, USJ, with a large organizing committee drawn from all three universities. Meetups beforehand focused on connection and collaboration across campuses, games, networking, and team challenges, before the main event’s sessions and competitions.
